To date 10 trees have already fallen as casualties of this project. It is a shame that many in the mainstream environmental movement in the Philippines has not taken any concrete step at the moment to defend the helpless trees. However, we must not loose hope nor must we solely depend on their supposed "influence" in publick affairs as their silence has rendered them obsolete to respond to the immediacy of the threat at hand.

For those among us who cannot be there physically we can still send a message to the powers-that-be in SM to make our
sentiments be heard loud and clear: STOP THIS DESTRUCTIVE PROJECT,STAND IN THE SIDE OF LIFE IN ALL ITS DIVERSITY. DON'T CUT THE TREES!
